IN THE ANNUAL FUNDRAISER
Western
New York Labor Leader Daniel M. Boody called upon the region's nearly
200,000 unionized workers and their families to participate in the Alzheimer's
Association of WNY Chapter's Memory Walk '04 on October 2, 2004, saying
organized labor and its members can play a lead role in helping raise
awareness and dollars to support programs here in Western New York...click

Variety Club Telethon 2004
Over the years
the Buffalo Building & Construction Trades Council and its member
unions have contributed to this very worthwhile cause, including nearly
$2,500 in 2003 alone.
The Trades Council
urges any construction worker - union or non-union - to continue to support
the Variety Club beeyond the annual telethon.
